How to manage contacts on your website?
Would you like to easily manage all the details of your website users? To easily check all their activities, properties, or personal details? To create lists or tags for easier navigation? Read the article to find out how to manage all these moments by using the Contacts section and to learn all the details of its subsections.

The Contacts section contains all the users that have ever registered on your website. You can easily import data with the help of the Import contacts button on the top of the main page of the Contact section. Also, you can export the needed data in the form of all pages or the current one by clicking on the Export all pages or Export current page buttons.

If you’d like to know all the details of the particular user, it’s enough for you to click on their email, after which a new window appears. Here, you can check all the user’s activity.

The window consists of two main parts. On the left side, there is a table with the general info about the user: the name, email, phone, company, etc. Below the table, there is another one with the address information: country, city, address, etc.

On the right side of the window there are three sections that provide you with the details of the user’s activities within the system:

Events shows every user’s activity, like page visited or email sent, with such details as its day, time, the page number, a list of actions, etc.

Properties contains all the info the system knows about the user, including the list of forms submitted, pages visited, tags, IP, and many more.

Lists provide you with all the lists, whose member the user is.

With the help of this section, you can segment all the users who applied to your system into lists. They can be either active or static. Active ones are based on the particular condition that you set up in the settings. In static ones, users can be only uploaded or added manually.

This section consists of all the information about users’ interactions with your website. Every time they do some actions for the first time, like visiting a new page or submitting a new quiz, properties are automatically generated.

After that, the section updates providing you with all the details of a new property, including its name, type, scope, time and date when it was created and updated.

To create a new property, all you have to do is to:

Click on the New property button in the right upper corner of the screen

Fill in three fields that appear in the new settings window with its display name, name, and type

Click on the Submit button

This section allows you to create tags for your users, so you can segment them by adding tags to their contacts. For example, “Already a client” tag can help you to easily and quickly find those users, who are already your clients.

To create a new tag, you need only three simple steps:

Click on the New tag button in the right upper corner of the screen

Enter its name in the Name field

Click on the Submit button

If you’d like to add a tag to a particular user, follow these steps:

Go to the Contacts section and then to the Contacts subsection in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen.

Find the user you’d like to add a tag for and click on the Email/Phone line.

In the table on the left side of the screen, find the Tags line and click on the pen sign which appears after you move your cursor on this line.

Add the tag name in the Table values field.

Click on the Confirm button.

Besides that, you can add a user to a particular tag. For that, follow these steps:

Go to the Contacts section and then to the Tags subsection in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen.

Find the tag, which you’d like to add a user to and click on the three dots on the right side.
